Why I became a Medical Marijuana Doctor
I became medical cannabis doctor to treat my mother-in-law’s tremors. Years ago, I tried to treat my mother-in-law for essential tremors with conventional medicne. After reading about the possible benefits of medical cannabis in Parkinson’s Disease and other tremor conditions, I placed my mother-in-law on over-the-counter CBD oil and noticed slight improvement in her symptoms. This result prompted me to obtain further education and certification in the treatment of conditions using medical cannabis with CBD/THC, which is significantly stronger than over-the-counter CBD alone.

Dr. Michael J. Wolpmann is a Board Certified medical doctor who provides general and highly specialized care. Dr. Wolpmann received his M.D. degree with honors from Albany Medical College in Albany, New York and completed his specialty training at the world-renowned Baylor College of Medicine. While at Baylor, Dr. Wolpmann participated in clinical research in women’s health and the training of other physicians. He continues these types of activities today in private practice in Venice and Sarasota Florida and is a frequent public speaker on health topics.
